We spent some time recently in Prosperity SC. We went there to check out some of the local restaurants and also see what the town was like and whether it was worth visiting on a motorcycle. It definitely is! The people are great! The town is friendly. And there are several great places to eat. Enjoy the video!
Thanks to Teresa Gibson for sharing some great videos from “The Gibsons” with us here on Biker TV. Wow! What a great Southern Rock band with The Gospel Message too! And they get what it is to be a biker!!! That’s a rare combo!
We just posted one video here, but we have their whole playlist on the “Motorcycle Ministries” page in our ON DEMAND section. Check out the menu at the top of the page. And get ready for some real, heart-thumping, Christian rock music to praise our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!!
What would it look like if, as leaders, Christian bikers focused less on the things that make our churches entertaining and more on making disciples? Some say they are the lost tribe of Canaanites. Others say they are just crazy ole redneck bikers with a great sense of humor. Whatever they say, most agree that “The Sheddites” are something very special — and definitely worth watching!!!
THE SITCOM …
“The Sheddites” is a new sitcom for Internet TV. It is a little like the old “Cheers” … a little like “Larry’s Diner” … and a lot like “Hee Haw,” in case you’ve ever seen either any those shows. For the most part, it all happens around the friendly Biker Bar.
“The Sheddites” is a bunch of friends “ragging on” each other and giving each other a hard time in exchange for a few good laughs. You’re invited to watch the action from a “safe place.” Soon “The Sheddites” should be available on TV in your living rooms through hardware like ROKU, WII, and other HD connections.
THE DINNER THEATER …
For those who can’t get enough of “The Sheddites” or aren’t interested in being in a safe place,” The Sheddites” get together every Saturday evening LIVE right here on BikerTV.org for what they call The Christian Biker Dinner Theater. We’re still not sure exactly what that is, but we know …
- It happens in Columbia SC at The Shed!
- They serve dinner every Saturday night starting about 6 pm.
- It’s always impromptu with music, jokes, stories, and even some preaching.
- It’s God-honoring, all-American, down-home, biker fun!
- The audience can actually interact with “The Sheddites” during the Dinner Theater.
- For those who can’t get to Columbia, you can join in online here BikerTV.org.
For the really “bold souls” online, Biker Church USA also broadcasts “The Sheddites” LIVE online … WITH A CHAT OPTION. They include a chat room so visitors online can “heckle and jeckle” the crew from the safety and comfort of their homes all across the USA and Canada.
Check out”The Sheddites” soon! They really are a crazy crew! And they’re definitely not your everyday Christian neighbors!
Here’s a quick update from the Pee Dee Motorcycle Classic for 2012 in Florence, SC. The Pee Dee Motorcycle Classic, brought to you by Sonny Productions, LLC, is rapidly becoming a real destination for bikers and vendors in the Southeast both because of its location and timing.
The Pee Dee Motorcycle Classic takes place in Florence SC, where I-20 meets I-95 and bikers meet other bikers for fun, entertainment, and some really great products and services too! It’s at the Civic Center, less than five minutes from both interstates and surrounded by great hotel chains and restaurants! And it comes right at the end of the riding season for many bikers — but not those in the Carolinas! There’s still plenty of “scoot time” here for bikers!
It happens every October in “Flo Town!” Put the Pee Dee Motorcycle Classic on your calendar for next year! It’s really a great location and a great bike show!
Eric Waters of Waters Airbrush, Inc., in Concord NC, unveils the “Bone Daddy” custom chopper at the Pee Dee Motorcycle Classic recently in Florence SC.
The Pee Dee Motorcycle Classic is a relatively new event that is attracting some big attention in the Southeast. It is hosted by Sonny Productions, Inc., the promotor for “The Ride” during Myrtle Beach Bike Week(R) spring and fall. The Pee Dee Classic takes place at the Civic Center in Florence.
We recently had the opportunity to be with the crew from Bikers for Christ in South Carolina for their 2012 state rally. The video we posted here catches some of the great fun and terrific spirit they had together. The music for this video is a song entitled “Famous.” It was recorded by Fear One, a favorite band of ours from the countryside near Brookneal and Lynchburg. It was used with their permission. Again, many thanks to BFC in South Carolina for having us!
